The stranded carbon core construction means that there is no single point of failure, providing very high reliability.
Applications
The highly flexible C7 Conductor can be used on new power line applications or for re-conductoring applications.
Minimal Sag and Thermal Expansion
The Conductor has less sag for lines with clearance or structure limitations. The thermal expansion is also minimal, with little sag increase at high power transfer.
Easy to Install – Flexible and Robust
The C7 Conductor is installed like a traditional conductor – the installation is easy as the cable uses traditional methods and familiar hardware.

Southwire’s C7 Conductor is designed for all loading conditions – from light loading to heavy ice loading. Trapezoidal Wire (TW) or Round Wire available.
