UL Hookup Wires
The range is manufactured using solid or stranded tinned or bare copper conductors with PVC insulation. The 7 stranded products are available with pre-fused copper strand. The wires are for use in internal wiring of electrical equipment in dry or damp locations. Applications include electric ranges, heating equipment, lighting fixtures etc.
UL Panel Wiring
MTW wire is for use mainly in internal wiring of electrical equipment, control panels, appliances, and grounding for use on industrial plan floor. Switchboard Wire, also known as Panelboard Wire, is a lead wire that is commonly referred to as SIS Wire in the electrical industry.
UL Automotive Cable
SXL/ GXL/ TXL is manufactured using stranded bare or tinned copper conductors with cross-linked polyethylene insulation and are manufactured from 8 awg up to 20 awg. These cables meet specification SAE Spec. J1128. and used in general purpose low tension applications in surface vehicle electrical systems.
SGT/ SGR/ SGX Battery cables are stranded bare copper with PVC, Rubber, TPR or Cross-Link Insulation. 85°C (SGT), 90°C (SGR), 125°C (SGX), 60 Volts. Applications include Battery Cable is for interconnection between batteries and starter or ground in vehicles.
Southwire FLUY, FLRY, and FLY Automotive Lead Wires are 60 VDC and 25 VAC cables that can be used in harnesses made for all types of land vehicles. 600 V rated designs may be available on special order.
