
Canadian Cables
The Canadian Standards Agency (CSA) sets out the requirements for the Canadian Electrical Code (Part 2) with a maximum voltage rating of 600V to the standard CSA 22.2.
Part 210-11 of CSA 22.2 is designated for Appliance Wiring Material Products such as heavy-duty cables with an increased voltage rating and a higher temperature rating than ordinary panel wires. The standard applies to both single conductor and multi-core cables, either round, flat or coiled.
